evening eating

Since I often overeat after supper, one of my goals is to limit my evening eating. What works for me is to plan my evening snack, using the food groups I didn’t eat enough of during the day. It also helps to keep an activity I enjoy nearby, to divert my attention from eating.

Lately, sewing seems to be my activity of choice.  I also like to knit.  Reading is not such a good choice since I seem to associate reading with snacking??!!??

Sewing and knitting require concentration and both hands.  I am also anxious to get another bit of my current project done, so I forget about eating.
